From the chairlift go along Via Belvedere and 100 meters after
the second bend ( near a fountain and a stone cross ) turn left . A 30 minute
walk brings you to Pian del Piof. Turn left
to the church of the Alpini and the Baita Brugnol (refreshments). An easy trail through meadows and woods leads
you to Pradel in about 40 mins. From Pradel follow the ski piste to Malga Tovre,(refreshments), and continue your hike for another 30 mins. through the
meadows or along the piste until you reach the Pian dei Tovre (arrival of chair
lift ) close to The Montanara Refuge, where you can enjoy a
breathtakingly beautiful view. From the refuge
continue north along the 340b trail that leads over level ground through the
woods. Out of the woods the trail winds
steeply down and some stretches can be slippery, but the unforgettable views
over the Brenta are well worth the effort. Once you get to the 340 trail, head to the left, east, and
after about ten minutes, on the right, you reach the lower part of the 340 b
trail that descends through the wooded crags of Deft, and eventually brings you
to via Belvedere, Molveno. If you want, you could take the 340 trail in a northwest direction, right, and arrive,
in about 45 minutes, at the Croz Refuge and from here descend to Molveno along
the forest road of the Val delle Seghe.
