Probably the highest -altitude lake in the
Lagorai Chain Cima d'Asta. It's located just below the homonymous refuge
dedicated to Ottone Brentari, 2457 m. Its waters reflect the overhanging rock
faces of the homonymous peak. This lake is of glacial origin. The
easiest access point is from Malga Sorgazza , reachable by car from Pieve
Tesino, Valsugana , Trentino Orientale, (11 km.). The hike begins on
trail 327, which in about 3 hours, leads to the lake and the refuge.
