From Molveno to the south of Trento (at the end of the ring road in the Verona direction, near a roundabout, turn left). After a few hundred metres turn right for Villazzano – Vicenza and carry on to Vigolo Vattaro. From here go along main road no. 349 towards Centa San Nicolò and then towards Lavarone. After a break in Lavarone, a visit to Luserna is of interest (it is one of the pockets where the Cimbro dialect, derived from mediaeval German, is still spoken) and then head back to Lavarone and carry on for Carbonare and Folgaria. You come back into the Adige Valley at Calliano and then carry on for Val Lagarina and Rovereto (the second biggest town in the province after Trento). Follow the road for Villa Lagarina, Lake Cei (biotope), Aldeno, Romagnano, Ravina, Trento, Cadine, Vezzano (visit to Ranzo and Margone if desired), Sarche and Molveno.
