Nice, easy, high altitude hike in the
southernmost valley of the Adamello Brenta Nature Park. From Molveno to Tione
and then to the Valle del Chiese by car. After the village of Lardaro turn
right into the Val Daone and to the car
park at Lake Malga Bissina. M.1800 , 69 Km from Molveno .
The hike now begins and coasts Lake Malga
Bissina, (artificial) to Malga Breguzzo with its wide open plains, meadows and
mountain pines. The hike then ascends the orographic right bank of the river
Chiese, with the magnificent profile of Carè Alto always in the foreground .
After about two hours and a quarter you reach the Val di Fumo mountain farm (possibility of
purchasing dairy products) and then a modest climb to the Val di Fumo refug,
m.1918. The path that runs on the left bank of the river Chiese leads back to
the car park.
