Lake Malghette is situated at 1900 meters
in the territory of the Adamello Brenta mountains in Folgarida. It is located west
of the Campo Carlo Magno Pass and south of Folgarida, in western Trentino.
Surrounded by meadows on the west side
and by thick pine forests on all the other sides, it is a really
pleasant place to relax: from its shores you can enjoy a magnificent view of
the Brenta Group. Lake Malghette is accessible from Malga Zeledria or from the road connecting
Dimaro to Madonna di Campiglio. A network of trails, fairly well marked, make
it possible to reach Pradalago and a series of other lakes located northwest of
Lake Malghette. Noteworthy is Lake Scuro
and the three smaller lakes called “ tre laghi" and, northwards along
trail 267, Lake Alto with a small refuge open in summer on it's shore.
